Mason Reich
Mason Reich was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Growing up, he performed in several theatre productions around his community, as well as in school. After receiving his Bachelor’s in Dramatic Arts at Coastal Carolina University, Mason continued to pursue theatre and performed at regional theatre companies and even did a national tour with a children’s theatre company. In January 2013, Mason moved to NYC, where he continued his studies in theatre and performed in several new work productions of plays and musicals, as well as appearing in short films. In addition to acting, Mason has sung in various cabarets around the Broadway theatre district. He also wrote his first short play, SKIP, which he later collaborated with his brother, Justin, and the two of them made it into an award winning short film. He is a member of Actors Equity Association.
Mason has always had a great love for music, singing, and songwriting. His early compositions consisted of piano instrumentals. In January 2017, Mason met up with sound engineer, Steven Pardo of 4D Audio Productions, and the two of them began recording his debut album, Reflecting. During a three year process, Mason and Steven enhanced each track with different instruments, coupled with a layer of harmonies and lead vocals. The album was released in December 2020. In the following year, Mason released two singles, Awake & Renaissance. His music is a mixture of contemporary classical, new age, and alternative music. Since the release of his album, he continues to showcase his compositions at local open mics, as well as performing covers and originals at several cabarets.
Mason loves to travel! He also loves to be outdoors and likes to explore different restaurants and bars around the city. A big wine and bourbon lover! He also likes to escape the city every once in a while and go to the mountains or to the beach whenever he can. During the holidays, or whenever his sweet tooth nags at him, Mason likes to bake desserts. He is also a certified bartender and loves making cocktails for people.
